Harbour Lights Fundraising Evening Raises £5,686 for Shilton’s Silverlining!
Peter and Steph Shilton hosted their second charity fundraising event on Thursday evening at the beautiful Harbour Lights Seafood Restaurant in Walton.
Hosted by compere David Davis, the intimate evening was a great success.
Guests enjoyed wonderful magic from ‘The Mindboggler’ and a fantastic performance from Chris Shannon.
Followed by Steph taking to the stage to perform some beautiful songs, before Peter entertained guests with some fascinating locker-room stories from his incredible football career.
To end the evening guests had the opportunity to get their hands on some fabulous gifts, including a signed England shirt. The star prize of the evening was England match tickets, which attracted huge interest and sold for an incredible £850!
During the evening, Steph and Peter took to the stage to speak about the charity and how important it is, urging people to open up about the subject and seek help if they feel themselves or a loved one is struggling.
Peter said:
“The evening was a great success. They really dug deep for such a worthwhile cause, and we are delighted with the results.”
Steph added:
“We really are grateful to everyone who helped make tonight a success. Most importantly, people really listened when we talked about raising awareness of gambling addiction’
The generosity of everyone who supported the event helped raise an incredible £5,686 being raised for Shilton’s Silverlining!
